At the Insights Shed, we’re known for our experience and ability to craft great product claims. The next step on from this has been product demo’s.
So far, we’ve worked with Unilever, Mars and Clariant to develop demo’s.
Whilst claims shout about the particular benefits of a product in a way consumer will find compelling, demo’s are about creating more engaging ways of really getting that claim message across.
This may be an element of an advert (like when we’re shown Pantene Pro V molecules interacting with hair, or Domestos killing germs etc), or it could be a magazine ad, bus stop visual or other piece of outdoor media. When it comes to demo’s, there really are no limits!
From training teams so they can create powerful demo’s internally, to collaborating with cross-functional teams to craft demos – this is the future and we’re proud to be driving it.
Demos really are a powerful way of doing targeted and engaging comms!

We often say our main job when working with grown ups on idea generation is to remind them how to think like children again.
Well, we got the opportunity to work with 80 children in Years 2 & 3 at Clifton Pre-Prep School in York, (7-9 yrs old) and had an amazing day helping them solving their playground related challenges.
We’ve also worked with Heads and Deputy Heads across schools, facilitating leadership meetings that include best practice for meetings and modules to inspire new ways of working.

The Renault F1 team asked us to work with them when they felt they’d lost their creative edge.
We were very happy to share our all we knew to ensure this team stopped losing time in ineffective meetings. Following a period of observation to understand their ways of working, we were able to give the team key tools to run effective meetings and to ensure that they were spending time solving the ‘right’ issues and challenges whenever they got together.

It’s one thing having great product – it’s another switching it ON!
We can’t show you any of our video’s so here’s one with JC that we think is a bit different.
When your product is full of amazing features and technology it can often do many things… the real challenge is sifting through the features to reach consumer compelling benefits and then bring these to life through both claims and demo’s.
FYI – Demo’s for us include in-store activations, trade show demo’s, live presentations in the street, some billboard work and even visuals for use in print – anything that can SHOW benefits in ways that make consumers go ‘WOW’!

There are many changes occurring within the legal market and The Insights Shed was there for this major law firm post merger, when it sought to re-assess it’s values. We were also there when the Corporate Team flew their partners in from across the world for a strategy event where the team future and ways of working were established.

The Insights Shed were selected to help solve 3 specific challenges which involved making use of existing information, gathering fresh stimulus and facilitating Insight Led Innovation Workshops in 3 locations.
